Help with college list

I know Brown has a Business Economics major that I'm guessing combines theoretical with more applied studies that you might want to look up further. I would agree with slipper on the desire to pursue Economics instead of Business at the undergrad level, but would like to point out that Hanover, NH is 10,000 people (not 100,000). Depending on what you're looking to do, I would consider some LACs that will have a more intimate setting that will still lead you to many opportunities. I would rather go to Colgate, Wesleyan, Middlebury or Bowdoin before Emory, UNC, UMich, Notre Dame, so it all depends what you're looking for.

Thanks...

I should also mention that I am looking at going to law school after undergraduate. I'd like the ability to double major (Business -or Econ, perhaps Political Science).

If you're looking to go to law school would definitely go for Economics over Business.

Gellino - Hanover is 10,000 but the Upper Valley (Lebanon, West Lebanon, White River JCT, Norwich) is considered local (all within 10 mines of Hanover) and I believe the area has between 85-100K people.

I guess, although how big Norwich and White River Junction don't really affect the Dartmouth campus. However, I guess they do contribute to the amount of extra shopping that does exist in West Leb. that does not exist anywhere near Hamilton, NY or Middlebury, VT.

Gellino - why Econ over Business for Law School? Wouldn't it depend on the quality of the two departments at the school?
