Help with college list...

Hey,
I was wondering if you guys could take a look at my list of prospective colleges and tell me how you think they pan out (reach/match/safety). They are in preferential order. Perhaps you can suggest more safeties, matches etc. (and im interested in chem/history).
Thanks,
My stats are here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=77586

Cornell (ED)
JHU
UChicago (EA)
Georgetown
Brown
Dartmouth
Yale
Vassar
URochester
George Washington
Boston U

Oh I had a poor Freshman year too! I also had a 3.5 GPA. How did you pull it up?

I got a 4.0 the next 2 years...I just worked like i did before i got to highschool and took hard courses and just worked hard sophomore year and junior year came fairly easy after that.

Bump...anybody?

bump. cmon guys...i need to make sure i have a comprehensive enough list...

That's a comprehensive list. You have a great shot at Cornell (ED) with your stats especially since Cornell is notoriously known for being easier ED. Your safes are true safes.

REACH
*some of these may be match-reaches (i have no idea without knowing extracurriculars/essays/reccomendatins)
Yale
JHU
Georgetown
Brown
Dartmouth

MATCH
Cornell (ED)
UChicago (EA)
Vassar

SAFE
URochester
George Washington
Boston U

Best of luck with the college process.

do you thinks the list is comprehensive enough as in distribution between matches/reaches safeties? Also, is there another LAC comparable to Vassar as in education, admissions that i could apply to as well as Vassar?
Thanks.

Here is, in order of decreasing difficulty, your chances:

Yale(reach for anyone)

Dartmouth

Brown

Georgetown/JHU

Cornell ED/Vassar

Uchic

The rest are safties. Nice stats, good luck.

Also, could anyone perhaps offer any more match schools with strong history/science departments? By the list, i think you get the gist of the schools im looking at.

Stanford, Columbia College, Duke...

you are in good shape for all of them.

Youre defn not going to make Yale, Brown, but I dont know about Cornell
