I'm a senior at a very prestigious magnet school.
I have a GPA of 3.5, an SAT of 1860/1300 without writing, a 750 Math SAT II
I major in Computer Science(technical high school), and am interested in computational linguistics and neuroscience
I've worked in industry, have a few leadership positions, and am involved in a variety of community services related to my interests
I'm also a girl
I want to go to a school of size between 3k-7k, near or in a city, preferable on the east coast, without an extreme male majority
I really want a sense of community with incredible academics, and diversity

I liked Lehigh for its community, and nice gender ratio, but want more diversity and a bit more adacemic rigor
I loved Wellesley, for its community, relationship with MIT, and neuroscience program

You’re in the bottom half for Lehigh. Your math is good, but I’m not sure how much more rigor you can seek, based on your SAT and GPA. Bottom quarter for Wellesley.

Here are some undergraduate programs in Linguistics that I know of where you can also get exposure to CL (in some cases, by grad courses) and (in all but one case?) neuroscience. I tossed out the size and region limitations.

I am not suggesting you will be able to get into one of these (altho some are more likely than others) or that you can afford one of them:
Northeastern, Cornell, Brandeis, Syracuse, Pitt, Northwestern, Montclair State, Stanford, Southern Cal, Stony Brook, Hopkins, CMU, Brown, Ohio State, Columbia, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan, MIT, etc.

union (NY)
clark(hoping to also study at wpi)
washington u in st. louis
smith
umass amherst, safety
clark seems like a good fit, but i wish i had another school like it
washu stl is a reach
smith’s picker program attracted me especially because i can also take classes at umass amherst
i worry union is too small
I wouldn’t have Umass Amherst as a safety since you stats are very close to the average student. (3.78 Weighted GPA 1220 R+M SAT) (These slightly higher than Clark’s) Especially since you seem to want to go into computer science where they are ranked #25 in the nation. (http://■■■■■■■.com/6nzpl9u) Although going to a top secondary school certainly gives you a great chance at admissions so, again, I think you will be accepted but it is better to be safe than sorry especially when it comes to colleges.
PS- Their Linguistics program is also quite solid.
Also, I’m talking from a pure stats perspective. I am not sure UMA would be a great fit for you if your trying to find a “small school” as it is a very large university. However I still must suggest it since it is certainly the cheaper option for most students. Additionally, considering your high school is truly as prestigious in the technical sciences as you suggest you may have a better chance at getting into CS then I suggested earlier.
i agree, that’s why i’m applying to smith
in my eyes, they have the best engineering program of the womans colleges
and most of their cs undergraduates take classes at uma
