I'm a highschool graduate and want to make the application to an American college, but i don't have enough information about colleges that i'm likely to get in. i actually love to get admitted to Harvard or MIT, but i know it's a reach even for applicants with greatest accomplishments.
We didn't have any AP course and class rank in highschool and almost no extra-curricualr activities, but some work experiences during 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades. i attended an english olympiad in 3rd grade and submitted 2nd grade in 1st (among the area schools) and 2nd (among state schools) levels. i was ranked among the top 5-6 students of the class every year of highshool. and my teachers do confirm me on evaluation and academic accomplishment. just one thing i kind of fear is that the circumstances in my country are not as expected for american college admissions (getting into college just through the grade of one total examination of all highschool courses). any suggestions and advices can be helpful.
Here my grades:
GPA: 3.75
IELTS: 7
SAT: math 800, CR 760, wr 760
SAT II: math level II 800, physics 780, chem 780
Thanks in advance!!!

wrong forum, some mod should move this to College Search… your GPA is too low for harvard and MIT and your ECs aren’t impressive compared to the other applicants. i can’t give you college suggestions until you explain what your intended major or interests are.

I’m planning to study Electrical Engineering in college.

bs student? may I call ■■■■■? I mean the name itself… it could refer to bachelor of science but the former is much more likely

Maybe it’s best student!!!
I need help on more important issues.
