First order of business should be to find out all you can about what makes a "good" program in these two subject areas. For that, I recommend you go to the Sloan Career Cornerstones website at http://www.careercornerstone.org/ -- you'll find reliable information there on what to look for in different programs, as well as links to trade organizations in the field that set standards for education.

Next, what are you looking for beyond the majors? What are your preferences in terms of size of school, location, social scene, activities outside of the classroom, and financial aid/cost? There are MANY great schools for both math and science, but finding the "best" school for YOU will really boil down to the answers to these questions.

Good luck with your search.
