Help with colleges

Hi I'm currently a high school junior and I will be applying to colleges pretty soon. So I was wondering if I could have some recommendations on some colleges that would fit me.
I have around a 3.4 GPA and I got a 2150(730R,780M,640W) on the SAT. I have fairly strong extracurricular activities(4 years of cross country 2 of track, chess club and cello). I am interested mainly in Mathematics.

What state are you in? Are you limited to one region, or open to colleges anywhere in the country? Is that GPA weighted or unweighted (I’m guessing the latter)? Will you need financial aid? There are literally thousands of colleges. You probably aren’t quite qualified for the most selective handful (ie. Ivies, et al), but could start just beneath that tier, and work your way down through reaches and matches. If you hope to receive merit scholarships, you will need to identify some attractive low-match and safe schools. The good news is that you should be competitive at most colleges. Let us know a little bit more about yourself. There are lots of interesting options. If it is pure Math, not applied (ie. Engineering), you can find some interesting programs at small liberal arts colleges, as well as large universities.

I’m in NY. I would like colleges in the northeast area. unweighted. I think I might need a small amount of financial aid. And yes Pure Math. I am taking some AP classes. So far I have taken Chem, US, and I am planning on taking calc BC, English Lang and comp, Comp sci, and physics C.

Location wise. I would like the school to be on the outskirts of a city. I went on a visit to BU and I hated the way it was just placed in the middle of a city. At the same time I have lived most of my life in a small town so I would live to get away from that.

Stony Brook?

Tufts and Brandeis are within reach, but you might not qualify for much in the way of merit aid. How about Haverford or Swarthmore? I think either might be a fit, although I don’t know how much aid would be available at either of them. They would be high-match, low-reach schools for you, probably. Villanova, Lehigh, BC, Fordham . . .

I dont think tufts gives merit aid.

do you mean need-based based on your parents income?

or merit aid based on stats/

you need to get clarification from your parents…how much will they pay each year??? and have them run the net price calculators to get an idea of what colleges expect…have them run tufts NPC.
