<p>Is writing about a unique reason i got interested in engineering a good essay topic for the common app long essay.</p>
<p>Btw, I am an international student applying to Cornell Engineering ED</p>
<p>I know the essay needs to be really amazing, thats why i want to make sure the topic is great</p>
<p>I think that topic could be really good in a way that it could tell them how creative your ideas are regarding engineering, your curiosity, overall interest on the subject and something about you that would make Cornell Engineering unique.</p>

<p>As long s it is interesting and unique. Make sure your voice comes thru. If it’s something like, " I went on a mission trip to a 3rd world country to help build x and realized I want to do this for a living…" that is not unique as they thousands of those!</p>
