Okay so, I really need some help here, my essay was 3,200 words=(, I write too much Are there any suggestions about cutting down?

My reasoning: I tried to include so many different thing such as why I switched majors, why I decided to transfer for that new major and why i'm interested in it, like my rational for the new major, I don't know i'm an over-analytical mess, I just need some guidance on this essay

I attend Roger Williams University in RI and am sending transfer apps to Brown and Umass Amherst, I already got accepted to Umass Amherst as a freshman last year. I'm not looking for any elitist ivy obsessed comments (Im from Boston, I've heard enough) I just want some tips on condensing and writing a good transfer essay

I have a bit of free time this week so I can look a it. I’ll do it on Word w/ track changes. I usually have the same problem as you where I use a ton of words and end up sounding redundant so I always go back to reduce and condense.

I myself am working on my transfer applications to JMU and UVa, so if you think it’s conflict of interest, I understand.
