Ok, so we don't need our courses til Januaryish but due to something I'm doing Tuesday, I need a schedule pretty much set.

SO... For senior year here are my options...

Pretty much set:
Honors Physics
Honors debate

Req courses:
Swimming
Comp Apps 2 (Word or Photoshop... which should I pick??)

If I get a B next semester, I'm taking Calc BC, but since it's REALLY not likely I'm taking:
-AP Prob and Stats
-Spanish 4

Choice Courses: (Pick 3)
-Honors Philosophy
-Humanities I
-Humanities II
-Advanced Composition A
-Zen and Emerson
-Tao in Thought and Lit
-Advanced Science Fiction

I'm doing either Egyptology (If I get into Brown) OR Near Eastern Civilizations anywhere else.
I'm bad at Spanish but should I take a 4th year since I'm going into one of those majors?

Any help appreciated :].

Stick with spanish. Might as well continue the sequence, plus Spanish 4 is really easy.

Take both humanities and philosophy. Apparently first semester humanities is a lot more work, but I don't think it's that bad. All we really have is the character project and the showcase, since no one really reads for discussions anyway. Plus it's seniors only so you can feel cool =)

Haha, ok. Whats the difference between the 1st and 2nd semesters?

Ohhh, do Photoshop. Word is much more self-explanatory. Not to mention you can do some AWESOME stuff with Photoshop. :)

Take Philosophy, Humanities and Composition.

If you take Philosophy I recommend you buy "Philosophy Made Simple". It's making it possible for me to enjoy that class. ^_^

Okie dokie. The only thing is, I'm in AP English this year. So... should I still take Advanced comp (in my school, generally we take it before APE but I took APE right away instead.)

1st semester is prehistory-1400s and 2nd semester is the 1400s-present. Right now we're about to study the New Testament. 2nd semester you don't have to do a character project and can do a mural instead of a showcase. I think there are more field trips second semester as well.

Overall fewer people take 2nd semester but the classes are slightly bigger since there's only two teachers. If you take it definitely try to get Welker since she's the best there is.

Mmm ok I'll definitely do semester one if I take it, as pretty much nothing past the 1st millennium AD is interesting to me.

Kat, you rock at life. Thats all.

Haha thank you but what classes should I take?

Are you seriously considering taking a class in microsoft word?

If you are already taking AP English this year you should be set in terms of academic rigor for english courses.

Why not take whatever you think you'll enjoy the most?

BTW, how does your school have all of these different types of courses? My school basically has one english class for each grade!

Haha, our English department is amazing, but I still need another half English credit.

As for the word, I dno it just sounded better.

I do not know. I have not even considered my class takings of next year. Only what color I would like my dorm, and that I will apply for a single.

By the way, I think I have decided of black and white with pink (or purple? or green? yes perhaps green) accents.

Mmm, I like green with black and white. Or maybe light blue.

My room is going to black and green and purple-blue next year :].

I think I have settled on black/white w/ green accents... now if only I had any idea what school I actually wanted to go to.

<3

Haha, have fun with that :]. Good luck wherever you want to go.

Thank you! You too!

Oh yeah, do you guys think that is an ok schedule? The only other AP courses are gov, psych, and bio all of which I've already taken the AP tests for and I really have no interest in them.

Oh BTW I want to go to Brown or U of M.

Come on guys I really need some advice!! QUICK!
