Help with CR! SAT in 22 days!

<p>I'm planning to score 1900-2000 +
I am doing well in writing & am improving in math.</p>

<p>Yet, I can't do well in CR :S!</p>

<p>I need at least 600-650, I know this may seem too low, but if I get something in that range I'll be happy!</p>

<p>I mainly have problems with the passages. I read them well & understand them, Yet I never seem to get the right answer. I'm okay with the sentence completion part whereby I'm memorizing Kaplan's 500 words from Kaplan's SAT guide for 2011. I found that around 50% of them are in the exercises.</p>

<p>Any easy or direct method with passage-based questions? What strategy should I use? Please help. I posted a similar thread earlier & no one replied. I'm sure there are many out there who are having difficulties...</p>

<p>I improved from a 540 to an 800 on the CR section, so I feel your pain. It’s tough to improve, but my scores show that it can be done. Buy direct hits, read and memorize the words in there. Then do all the CR sections from the Blue Book. Your scores should skyrocket once you find out what kind of questions College Board asks and how to reason to the right answer.</p>
