Hello! So I sent my ACT/SAT scores two weeks ago to one UC and CSU because I read online that if you this they will send the scores to the rest of the schools. However when I logged into my web portals it still says I have to send them through my to do list? Im getting nervous that they won’t receive it in time? Or did I do something wrong. Also, I’ve read online that the scores are due November 30 for csu and Uc? Do I have to send AP scores as well? Ive sent my transcripts but it shows up on my to do list as “initiated”.
CSU’s and UC’s do not require you send transcripts or AP scores until you are accepted and enrolled. You self-report grades and AP scores and usually admitted based on your self-reported information. Some CSU’s may ask for a Mid-year Senior transcript for verification of the a-g courses.
For SAT/ACT scores, it can take up to several weeks until the scores are posted on your student portal. Applications are due November 30th but the deadline for the UC’s is end of December and for many CSU’s it is January.
Thank you for answering! Today I spoke with my counselor, she said there is a code for sending only one of them to CSU and UC and they will automatically send to the rest? I didn’t use this code though, I just sent it to one UC and one CSU. Will they send to the other schools? or was I supposed to use the code?
According to the CSU website:If you list a CSU campus(es) as an SAT score report recipient, your scores will automatically be sent to all campuses to which you’ve applied. You can also use the CSU systemwide institution code (3594) on Collegboard.com to ensure that all CSU campuses to which you apply receive your scores.
So either way you should get your scores to all the campuses.
