<p>I remember from reading old threads that you really need to sign up and pick a dorm right away if you want to be on a Kelley floor or an honors floor.
Can someone with recent experience please provide more info., via post or PM?
If I recall correctly, if he doesn't go to IU we will wind up losing money, and I'm ok with that! but of course would like to be as "smart" about it as possible. I also remember that if you want to do Kelley! you need to write essays! but maybe NOT the same day you sign-up/make payment?

<p>Congratulations and welcome to IU! We are currently accepting applications for the spring semester of the 2013-14 academic year.</p>
<p>The application process for 2014-15 will open at 4 p.m. EST on January 29, 2014</p>
<p>This is the day/time you can submit your application. You can make changes to it, and write essays for specific programs after your initial submission but it will not change your date of application. Hope this makes sense</p>

<p>Nope, 29 January. Just make sure he gets his housing app in, if he wants Kelley LLC you can do the essays later. What matters is the time/date stamp on the app</p>
