Hi I'm an incoming freshman, biology major, and I want to live on campus. Probably Coed and not communal.
Any tips with choosing three dorms to list??
Thank you!

Northside! Hobby, Neeley, McFadden, (largest rooms/private bath) or FHK (suite style bathrooms i believe)

ok thank you!!

Would you please describe the bedrooms and facilities at the Honors residence? Private bathrooms? Is it close to the library or university cafes or restaurants? Is it close to the Biology buildings?

you can google texas a&m housing and get a google satellite map of locations of all the dorms.

here is a map that shows where all the modular dorms are:

http://reslife.tamu.edu/download/maps/modular_halls_map.pdf
the honors dorms are clements, lechner and mcfadden.

all dorms are about the same distance to the library.

there are virtual tours of the dorms here:

the honors dorms are modular style so each room has a private bathroom.

idk where the biology buildings are! haha. ok, i just looked and it appears that the biology building is over near the quad. not that close to honors dorms, but not that far, either.

biology buildings are on the west side so nothing is really close i found out:(

yeah i was thinking they would be over there. maybe just the department is over by the quad. idk.

it is not a big deal though. they have shuttle buses. and once you get to your upper level classes most of your classes will probably be all roughly in the same area.
