Help with EC's

Hello fellow CCers,
I'm currently a sophomore in high school(class 2013) and I need some help choosing between the Math Club and Forensics League. I'm pretty good at math, second favorite class after chemistry and I love tutoring and going to competitions. A few days ago my English teacher was recruiting for the Forensics League and she said that it really helps for college applications (don't know if that's true) I love giving speeches in public and stuff, but I just don't like the people there and the environment of the club. Also, if I stay in Forensics I'll have to leave French Club and won't be able to go to the Chemistry Club's Science Bowl practice due to each club being on the same day(French Club on Mondays and Chemistry Club on Fridays). While if I leave Forensics and join the Math Club I'll be able to go to all three clubs. I don't really want to go to an Ivy, I'm just happy with being accepted at any university on the U.S. or going what is considered the best university on my country (University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez).
My dream universities on the U.S. are:
University of California Berkeley
University of Chicago
Tufts University
Cornell(only Ivy I'm interested in)
I've been doing community work since my freshman year and I'm in the top 1 or 2% of my class(3/230) but I'm kind of pessimistic about getting accepted to any university lol and I probably worry too much. :<
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English. :]

Just do math club. It sounds like you want to do forensics because your teacher said it will help on your apps. That’s true, but math club can help too. I don’t think admissions counselors will differentiate between the two very much. What really makes a difference is choosing what you want to do and doing it well.

^I agree, do what you like.
Living your high school life just for college will make you quite unhappy.

Math Club definitely. You can then do Chemistry Club too, and you’re passionate about both so boom. (And French club).
