I am a senior in high school and I am going to choose one of the 4 following schools for ED- Northwestern, WashU, Vanderbilt, or Notre Dame. All 4 are obviously top tier schools and any of them as my ED choice would be fantastic. However, that is the problem. They are all about the same level in my college list. However, WashU's acceptance rate for my high school is about 40%. Northwestern,Notre Dames, and Vanderbilt's acceptance rates are around 20-30% for our school. I have a higher chance of getting into WashU, and would be happy to attend, but I like the other schools too! My head is about to explode :D My number one choice would be Northwestern, but if my ED doesn't work out with it, then I can't use it for any other schools. Please help with my ED chances?

Anyone???
Also, I am interested in Pre-med.

If you are interested in Pre-med you should keep your UG costs low. Have you run the Net Price Calculators on each of the web sites to see which would be most affordable?

If there isn’t one school that stands out in front of the rest, then you shouldn’t be applying ED anywhere. If there is a school that stands out, then apply ED there.

I think you’ve answered your own question. Northwestern is your favorite and you shouldn’t be using your ED on anything other than your favorite.

Your other option is to just do RD to all four. This is a good option if any of the following apply:
- You need to consider FA options.
- Using ED doesn’t increase your chances at your selected ED school.
- You really want to see if you get in to the other schools.
- Your favorite is only your favorite by a narrow margin and you might change your mind.
- There’s any chance you will regret having to go to your ED school.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to narrow down my choices to Northwestern and WashU. Again, I like Northwestern better, but I have a higher chance of getting into WashU.
