Hello everyone!
I am an international student. I have already taken 3 subject tests on Physics, Chemistry, and Math level 2. Although I did not take Literature in my high school, I plan to take the subject test exam, as I have found much interest in the subject recently. Very few people from my country actually take the lit test, and it's very difficult to find Sat literature books over here (Bangladesh). In fact, I only found the Princeton review book. Is that good? And could you please advise me on what to study for the test? I really want to take the exam. Thank you!

I've heard that lit is one of the harder tests to study for simply because it's not about memorizing rules or formulas as much as it is about analyzing. But I have heard the Kaplan is a good book for studying. You can find it on Amazon.

Princeton Review is okay, but Kaplan's eight practice tests are invaluable. Practice is arguably the most important part of studying for the Literature test. :)

I'm using the Barron's book. It has nine practice exams, and the explanations are pretty thorough.

I'm using the kaplan book right now; it's a great tool for practicing.

Does anyone know how hard those eight tests are relative to the actual exam?

I'd say that they're pretty dead-on, because my best practice test score was 780 and my actual test score was 780. Someone on a different thread reported 750+ (I forget the exact number) for practice tests and got an 800 on the actual test. So, there isn't much of a difference.

dang; I was hoping they'd be harder, heh. >.<
