So I desperately want to take Introduction to Global Studies. I'm thinking about majoring in it and it's only offered in the fall. I'm going to be a second year, so I really want to take it this year. I signed up for it on my first pass successfully, and then stupidly dropped it a couple of weeks later because I wanted to change which discussion I was in. It would not let me re-enroll due to what I presumed was the major restriction. It said it was open only to Global Studies majors until August 31. Well today is August 31 and no luck still. If someone could please help me soon it would be very appreciated. I don't want the class to fill up. I want to call a counselor or someone from registrar or something to talk to and see what the problem is. Does anyone know who I could contact?

I just looked it up and there aren't any restrictions for the course, there's just a huge waitlist for the class. Having taken it before, I can tell you that at least for the quarter I took it, they barely let anyone in off that waitlist and there were people sitting on the aisles at times.

In the future if you want to exchange discussions and avoid this mess, there's an option on ursa that will allow you to drop a discussion and add a different discussion simultaneously, but of course you have to make sure that the discussion is still open before you do that
