<p>I am applying to Wake, and there is no word limit on the essays. Most of my essays (scholarship and application) are around 900 words long. I think that they are very interesting and flow nicely, but I am afraid Wake will think ithey're too long? So...what is TOO long?</p>
<p>If you say that there's no word limit I would try to avoid going over three pages [double spaced] from what I generally hear, though personally I would never go over two, but I guess it's what you feel comfortable with sending for each one and if you feel that every that is said is worthwhile [and now I probably just made you more confused] :|</p>
<p>I think the standard is 500, but if it's more than that and it's interesting, it probably won't be too much of a problem. Cut it down if you have to.</p>
