<p>Okay, I started working on the NU supplement essay, and I am a bit puzzled with the essay prompt. For those who have already finished the essay, i have a question: am i supposed to just talk about Northwestern's qualities throughout the whole essay? My rough draft of the essay has a 80:20 ratio in terms of personal experience : northwestern's qualities that I wish to utilize...should i put more emphasis on the school's qualities part?</p>
<p>I think you should talk about Northwestern's unique qualities (has to be unique) and then tell them how you fit in to it, how you, above all others, can utilize these kind of qualities better than other applicants.
Honestly, in this essay, you not only have to say why Northwestern is good for you, you have to prove to the admissions that you are good for Northwestern. :D Cheesy i know

<p>prove to them that you aren't using NU as an Ivy-reject school; that there is actual motive in you applying. Something that they have that you can really take advantage of. They want to see a win-win situation.</p>
