Help with Extra-Curriculars

Hey
I am a sophmore and was just really confused on whether I have good extra-curricular activities and wanted to know how much extracurriculars have an impact on my admission to a college..

Volunteer:
1)I help autistic kids and have been doing it for about 2 years.
2)I do Red Cross Club at my high school and have been in it for two years.
3)I volunteer at a local hospital and have been doing it for a year.

Music/Cultural:
1)I have been playing the piano for 4 years.
2)i have been learning Carnatic (Indian) Music for 4 years continuously and I am going to get a certificate to teach a basic level of Carnatic Music, from a university in India. I started in 2nd grade but I had to quit due to moving out of country.
3) I have been participating in a cultural club at school for 2 years.

Sports:
I recently started to learn karate and might get a red belt by the beginning of senior year.

P.S.I am aiming for top pre-med colleges such as University of Washington at St.Louis and University of Penn.

Also, I was wondering whether taking summer online programs looks good on college applications???

Please answer my questions!
Thanks :)

Try doing research. This is not a very common activity that will look impressive if you want to go into medicine.

I do this club that is involved in research with DNA…is that good enough?

It depends. What I mean is make your own project with the help of a professional menor and enter it in competitions like siemens and intel. That will probably catch the eye of any admissions officer because it shows intiative, commitment and talent.

It’s only “good enough” if you decide it’s good enough. Don’t listen to anything we say…
