help with finding good matches

I'm having a lot of trouble finding schools that seem to fit. I'm looking at something in business or maybe some sort of international relations. I love the idea of a school where you can get to be close with profs. I'm also hoping I can find a school that isn't in a giant city (NYC, DC, etc.)

It would be amazing if some people could make suggestions for reaches, matches, and safeties!

Me:
GPA 4.141 (Ranked 1 out of 46 in a private school)
Cum Laude, National Merit.
SAT 790 C.R. 740Math 710Writing (Retaking them!)
5s on APs (AB Calc, US History, Environmental Science)
State rankings in math and french competitions.
head editor of newspaper and yearbook.
4-h treasurer.
3-year letterwinner in two sports.
pres. of community service club.
a little tutoring, a bit of minor fast-food work experience.

Thanks!

Swarthmore
St John's Annapolis/SantaFe
Bowdoin

LACs would probably provide the close relationship with profs and avoid the big cities but the best LACs do not offer a bachelors in business. Perhaps you could look for LACs with an economics major instead of business. That would open up many possibilities among the selective LACs.

thank you... i hadn't even thought of bowdoin! it looks nice from what I'm looking at now! do you think that I would be missing out by going to a good LAC rather than an ivy?

I probably will do economics...no one seems to have actual business majors

No, read the "Harvard Overrated?" article in USNEWs, realize that there is always room for Ivy League in graduate school, but arguably, the best undergraduate experience will be found at a liberal arts college.

cre8tive..do you have a link to that article? I can't find it.

thanks for your point, though...I love the idea of a LAC, but my mom is all abt. the ivy name.

You'll need to get the magazine to ead the article...

oops! I thought you meant it was on the website!
