Help With Four-Year Plan

Hi everyone! I am a freshman in high school, and have been working on my four year plan:

Freshman Year:
-English 1 Honors
-Freshman Writing (Unlevelled)
-Algebra 2 Honors
-Precalc Honors
-World Studies Honors
-Biology Honors
-Spanish 2 Honors
-Keyboarding/Gym (each is only half a semester class)

Sophomore Year:
-AP Calc AB
-Spanish 3 Honors
-English 2 Honors
-Chemistry Honors
-AP US Gov
-AP Microeconomics
-Java Programming Honors
**Health and Gym are required, but I would take them online since I don’t have time in school.

Junior Year:
-AP Calc BC
-AP English Language and Composition
-AP Comp Sci A
-AP Chemistry
-US History Honors
-Spanish 4 Honors

Senior Year:
-AP Stats
-AP English Literature and Composition
-AP Biology
-AP Physics 1
-AP Physics 2

What do you guys think? I’ve always gotten straight A’s in every single one of my classes with very minimal effort, so I’m pretty sure I would be able to handle the amount of AP’s I want to do. However, I’ve heard AP Bio and AP Physics are both pretty demanding, so I’m not so sure about doubling up on those…

In college, I definitely want to major in engineering, preferably more math-based than science-based… Right now, I’m reaalllllyyy into software programming, but I don’t know if I would for sure want to go into that as a career–it might be more of a hobby.

Please let me know what you think!

That certainly seems really rigorous…will your school let you take both physics in one year? (in mine, Physics 1 is a prereq for physics 2). Other than that, well…I would go for it, but keep in mind that it might change, and that’s okay. AP classes are very hard, and I don’t know if I could have handled more than just one sophomore year (I, like you, have always easily gotten straight As). Still, obviously, you’re a different person and have different abilities than me. I would see how you feel at the end of this year. Also yeah, physics is hard, and the people I know in AP Bio also say it’s really hard and a lot of work. But I think that if you’ve gotten to senior year with that many AP classes, it wouldn’t be too bad.

AP Physics 1 is a prereq for AP Physics 2 in my school as well, but hopefully I could take AP Physics 1 first semester and then AP Physics 2 next semester… they let me do that this year (freshman year) when I took algebra 2 first semester and precalc 2nd semester, since algebra 2 is a prereq for precalc.

I guess I’ll try out APs in sophomore year, and then rethink my junior and senior year plans and see if I can handle it after all.

Thanks for replying!
