well i mean… the only reason out of state tuition for public schools is because the state needs more money and they get the money from the kids paying out of state tuition.

though your sat score is average, you have a pretty good gpa.

if you live in the western part of the US have you ever considered any WUE schools? sorry i didn’t know you needed the financial aid to fall below $10K. But honestly, either way out of state public and privates are the same.

There are schools that give presidential scholarships (full tuition) to people with good stats. you have a pretty good gpa and an okay sat… but i think if you apply to a school with lower gpa averages than yours (like a 3.3-3.5) you could get the scholarship.

This isn’t guaranteeded, it’s just my opinion. I mean if you think about it… you should get it since your stats would be higher than the average.

purdue is good on engineering so is cal poly slo. but i’m not sure how they are on financial aid.

Does your school provide a college counselor? you should definitely sit down with them and ask.

but if you live in the western part of the US, definitely apply to WUE schools (University of Oregon, Western Washington U, University of Nevada)…

good luck
