Help with GPA

<p>My GPA isn't all that great...
my school weights GPA really weirdly...
we get .5 added to ONLY AP classes IF we take the AP exam.
So the Max. GPA one can get after taking 11(about the max one can
take in my school with like almost all As) is like 4.11
I have 3.9</p>

<p>I think that's not good enough for like top schools I might apply to.</p>

<p>Do you think I should balance that out with high SAT score?
I'm taking it this June.</p>

<p>GPA is not everything with top schools. Everyone who applies to the top schools has a good GPA. What kind of extra curriculars do u have?</p>
