Help with Heart of Darkness/ Last minute summer assignments please :) <3

Yeah...so I finished Lord of the Flies today, and I need to finish Heart of Darkness and do a data sheet on it, along with a related poem analysis (1-pg analysis). I tried to sit down and read it several times, but since I wasn't really crunched for time, I never got any real progress done. I'm on page 4. In how long can I finish the book? My friend said L of the F would take 3 hours, but it took me about twice that time. Can I finish Heart of Darkness (only 70 pgs, but font is really small), and have another 4 hours to do the data sheet for it (about 45 minutes), do the 1-pg poem analysis (maybe about 45 minutes), and do a 2-pg response to the Constitution for AP Gov (large margins, so only about an hour) by 6:00 AM? Then I got to get ready for the first day of school, of course :P

I've been working a lot the past couple weeks on my assignments, so don't criticize me, please. If you can, please offer advice and an answer to my question above. Thanks! (I'll get off CC soon).

Probably not.
I’d do the AP Gov thing then try and get as far as I could with Heart of Darkness and the poem.
Good skill.

Thanks! 10char

Ya I had to read Heart of darkness this summer as well. I read it the beginning of July so i could take more time. It probably took me 7/8 hours to readit and fully understand it across 4 days ~1 1/2 or 2 hours every day. I have a quiz over it tomorrow on the first day of school. :frowning: If you look online you can find abridged versions like I think sparknotes has one. That’s kind of “dumbed down”, but it helps to make it go by quicker and you understand it better. I think you have enough time if you pull an all-nighter. hope this helps
