Hello,
I am applying for housing. I am a freshmen admitted for fall 2016. I am an international student and I want to live in a suite style building. Can you please tell me anything you know about the 3 different suites? I am attending Marshall so which bldg is closest? Thanks
There have been several housing threads recently, look through first few pages of threads or search “housing” in USC forum for quickest answer.
My daughter, now a sophomore at USC, toured them all and really wanted to live in Webb or Fluor as a freshman for many reasons… first - its an apartment or suite set-up and simply has more space - with living room and kitchen, private bath, and A/C throughout the apartment (in the case of Webb). My key advice though is to do what she did… locate a roommate and then make sure that your preferences/requests match exactly… #1 thru 4 or 5, however many there are. By doing this, you make the job of USC Housing easier and they are more like to pair you two together and grant you one of your top choices. She found her roommate here on CC. My daughter is now at Century as a sophomore and has already locked in Century again for her junior year. Everyone has different needs or wants. In her case, it was A/C throughout (which is rare at USC) and having an actual apartment with lots of space + a kitchen + private bath.
From this link, you can start to explore Webb… its floor plan options, etc. Or you can explore the other suite and apartment options.

Good luck…
Bump! I really need more info on Parkside AH vs. Pardee residence hall. I want a good balance of social and academic life. I prefer the larger rooms and the AC at Parkside but is it really that socially dead or can I still enjoy my time and go to frats if I like?
