Help With Housing!

I started to fill out the housing application and i have to decide on housing options.

Just a little background--I am a thoughtful, serious student. I am also religious and don't plan on partying. However, I definitely want to make friends and do fun things.

Right now my list looks like this:

In no particular order:
Marks Hall
Marks Tower
Pardee Tower
Fluor (Single-- I'm not sure that I want a suite...)
Parkside (Apartments--I'm not really excited about this, although it sounds fairly nice.)

Is this a good list for me?

The Parkside suites are definitely more suitable than Parkside apartments. Based on your description of yourself, I recommend the 8 person or 6 person Parkside suite. It’s also close to Viterbi if you’re an engineer!

oh sick yeah I’m undeclared but I applied as engineering so that’s what I’m going for at the moment. Thanks a bunch!

Our D has enjoyed the Parkside suites. Good mix of fun and studying, great events/field trips around LA planned by the RA staff. Fairly new building, good location, good food.

Yeah, replace Parkside Apartments with something else, its an older building usually consisting of mostly sophomores and up and isn’t social at all due to apartment style.

I am also a spring admit and need help with housing.

I chose the apartments because I really like to cook. I like to maintain a balance between social life and studying. I like partying and getting good grades.

I am choosing between Webb Tower and Parkside Apartments now, can someone help me? Which one is newer and nicer?

Any opinions about a sophomore transfer living in Fluor? I know there are a lot of freshman living in Fluor but will I feel OK if I am living with other athletes on my team? Also, can you get parking if you live on campus?
