help with housing!

i sent an email to housing, asking about the availability. they sent me a reply that says
"We can currently offer you a supplemental housing contract which is a housing contract for a four person room. This would guarantee you on campus housing. You would remain in this room until a two person room became available. There is a possibility that you would be offered a two person room before school begins in August. If you are interested in supplemental housing, respond to this email so that we can mail you a housing contract. You would not be able to be offered a single room at this time. "

should i just throw away my 50 bucks and try and get a private dorm?
or are THEY already filled up, too?!
aaarrrgh
i really want a single..but i guess they would be out, too

any advice?

If you've got the type of $$ to be wanting a single, I do NOT think your $50 deposit would mean anything to you. Single rooms cost almost DOUBLE the price of a two-person room. I would call around to the private dorms and see if they have a room, but things are filling up fast.

A lot of private dorms aren't full yet unless you're after Hardin House or Scottish Rite...in which case you would have known about it at age 5 and applied 2 years ago.
