<p>I started my common application, but am unsure of my identity. Under bio, in the citizenship section, I don't know what to select as my citizenship status. I am currently a pending permanent resident alien. I tried selecting "other". Then I was asked to select my visa type, but I do not hold a visa. So is selecting "I do not hold a U.S. non-immigrant visa" correct in my case? In the University of Maryland-College Park online application, there is actually an option for pending permanent resident. I just don't know what to do with the common application. Your help is greatly appreciated.</p>
