I’ve had bad experiences with fine arts schools auditions, but the one piece of advice I can offer is to prepare, prepare, prepare. Juilliard is the most prestigious performing arts college in America, so it’s gonna be rough. As far as other good performing arts schools for theatre go, think about University of North Carolina School of the Arts, SUNY-Purchase, Boston University, and Carnegie Mellon. But seriously, rehearse your heart out, and maybe even hire a coach.

Ask this in the Music Forum. There are a lot of very informed people over there.

Sounds like you are auditioning for theatre, so try asking on the theatre and drama majors forum.

There are MANY schools with strong undergraduate drama programs.

The theatre and drama majors forum is a wealth of terrific information.
