Last spring i asked two humanities teachers and my math teacher to write my recommendation letters. Im much more friendly with my humanities teachers, which is why i asked them first, but then at the end of spring i found out that a college i liked requires a math/science letter too, so i asked my math teacher (im still pretty friendly with him, but only half as friendly as i am with my other two teachers).
Since im a math or science major, im wondering how i should go about assigning the recommenders to each school.

Would it be okay at any point to only mail the two humanities letters to a college, or should I at all times mail one humanities letter along with the math letter? I know that i wont have to declare a major until later on, but some colleges have different schools that i need to apply into that are more major specific (NWU, CMU, etc). I would love to be able to send both humanities letters to a school, but i dont want it to make me look bad as a prospective math/science major. And if the college doesnt have different schools with special areas of study, would it still be bad to not include my math letter?

In schools that only require one letter, would it then be ok to only mail a humanities letter? I know that I can still send two to these schools, but on their website they say its really not encouraged unless they offer unique perspectives. i dont think my math teacher would say anything that new or offer a perspective that unique. And would this be ok even at selective schools that are pretty sciency (NWU, CMU, etc)? Or should i just mail my math letter alone to these schools since its more relevant to my major?

Would it look really bad to selective schools that my letters of recommendation arent entirely centered around math and science??
Im still going to have good math/science grades and scores to send, so i was hoping that those can speak for themselves without my math teachers letter. Please help!
