<p>Hello so I was wondering if I could send one of my recommendation through common app and the other through snail mail? If so would it be any difference? I was also wondering if any of you guys bought a small present for your teacher before they wrote your recommendation?</p>
<p>Yes you can, add the snailmail recommender through common app but don’t include an email address for them, common app will list them as an “offline” recommender. make sure to give that teacher the correct forms.</p>
<p>and i plan to give my teacher gifts after decisions so i have something to talk to them about, like how they contributed etc. but yes it’s very common to give them a small gift.</p>
