Does it look bad to get a B in math classes sophomore year and junior year as a high student? I got a B+ in Regular Precalculus first semester and B second semester. I got a B- first semester in AP Calculus AB and I am most likely getting a B second semester. My projected GPA with the following classes is a 4.16 weighted and a 3.86 unweighted. If I am applying to top tier colleges under premed, will this make me look bad a lot, or not?
But you don’t major in pre-med. What do you want to major in?
What are the students you are competing in doing?
Do not think 'Every point I get off of a hw or test is a point away from going to Harvard."
Think: “I need to do my best, and there will be a college that is right for me when I graduate.”
Do not think “If I don’t go to an Ivy League School/Top20, i am doomed for ever.”
Think: “No matter where i go, I can bloom where i am planted. I can get involved and shine.”
Do not think: “My life is over…the kid in my math class is taking 20 APs and I am taking 5. I will never succeed.”
Think: “I need to challenge myself, but only to the point where I can still do well.”
