Help with math questions!

I got these questions wrong on the practice test #1 in the BB, but I cannot figure out why:

If 3a + 4b = b, which of the following must equal 6a+6b?
a. 0
b. 12
c. 2b
d. 12b
e. 6b - 8

20 on the same section. It's BB Practice test #1, it has to do with salesperson's commission...

8 in section 7...deals with votes casted for different candidates.

16/#18 on the grid in questions.

16.)
3a=-3b
This means that a=1 and b=-1.
Input these values into the second equation.
6(1) + 6(-1)= 6 - 6= 0

k percent= k/100
14000 x 2= 28000
Commission= k/100 x 28000= 280k
(A)

8.)

x + (x+28000)= 2,800,000
2x + 28000= 2,800,000
x= 1,386,000

Candidate 1’s percentage of votes cast= (1,386,000+28000/2,800,000)x100= 50.5%

What about the grid ins?
