can anyone recommend and merit scholarships that i have a decent chance at getting?

Thanks

Have your parents start writing their checks because the ivies do not give merit aid. Any outside scholarships you would get would first reduce any self help aid that you would recieve (work study and student loans) the balance would reduce the institutional aid (which would be "0" since you state that you did not get any financial aid).

Start checking out the independent scholarship sites like fastweb cuz Sybbie is right. If you don't qualify for financial aid, you aren't getting a dime out of UPenn. Ivies do not give merit money.

If you don't receive any financial aid, then all merit aid will be a gain. There will be no self-help aid to replace. As for scholarships - check your high school scholarship wall. Best bet is local scholarships.
