Move out day is almost here. I'm moving to apt next year. Haven't signed the lease for june or august yet. Move out day is like may 22 or 23 i believe.. and I'm taking summer session A. Is there a company to put my stuff for 7 or 8 days and then deliver it to my new apt over summer? My parents aren't driving up here.. so i don't have anything to store it with. I might stay at my friends apt until my lease actually starts. So?

UC Storage is on Shattuck. Kinda hard to get there w/o cars - but it’s about a mile away from the Units. The F line goes there.

yea… don’t they have companies that come and pick up ur stuff and then send it where u desire?

those companies are REALLY expensive. i believe they charge ~$200-300

if you need storage for like a week or two, try to ask a friend if you can leave it at their apartment if they’re leaving for the week or something, or just haul it to UC storage - $45/month, so it probably won’t be that much for the week, call a taxi or something? or maybe a friend has a car?

If I were you, I’ll just ask a friend if I can store my stuff at his/her place. It’s only a week and not much stuff.

ill just spend the few hundred dollars. Delivering is much more convenient. i would rather only move my stuff out once. rather than twice :). Ok… now i have to look for those companies.

this is a good thread.

So how about using one of those companies (anybody know any names?) for storing stuff between end of summer session C and fall.
