Help with my list of colleges?

So I'm trying to add to my list of colleges, but I'm not sure what matches/low matches I could add in case I don't get into my reaches (cause my reaches are obviously better for Investment banking). I really like finance and economics and I take classes and read about it a lot, so I might major in one of these but I want something mathy so idk yet.

Anyways, consider the following rough stats- GPA (around 3.8-3.9) ACT(around 33) with pretty good ECs (very sporty), good course rigor, pretty good essays, etc.

Not amazing but a pretty decent, well rounded applicant.

Schools so far (not definite, just spit balling)

Stanford (for sure) Upenn Harvard------------high reaches..

Northwestern Uchicago Cornell-------------- lower reaches than the others

Berkeley, UCLA, USC NYU------ I like cali , high matches?

I'd prefer a medium to large university, but it doesn't really matter where it is.

Any help? Because I'm hoping I'll get into a few of the above colleges, but you never know.

So are there any easier to get into schools, that would still give me an opportunity to head to the finance world (IB). Any matches for me or maybe even a safety?

Also tell me if there's anything I should just take off (like Harvard?).
Thanks so much in advance!

What’s your financial situation look like? If you’re OOS for the UCs (which I’m assuming you are, since no one from California calls it “Cali”), you’ll have to pay full price, which isn’t cheap. You need to make sure that your safeties are actually financial safeties as well.

Well, finance is a tough field from non-top schools. You could look at Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon

In addition to the above, do make sure to check out:

Michigan
Virginia
Notre Dame
Boston College
Emory
WUSTL

You might want to consider IU Bloomington. The Kelley School has an excellent reputation, campus is beautiful, sports (esp. bball) are big, and based on what you’ve said, it would probably be a match/safety for you.

From another post by the OP:

“So I’m a junior living in Europe, but I’ve lived most of my life in the states. I’ll be applying as an international.”

UCB and UCLA are probably reaches (though being full pay should help).
