Help With My List!!!!!!!

Hi all,

I'm looking to transfer from Arizona State to a school with an elite program in the Classics. I went to ASU for my freshman year on a full merit scholarship, but I am in a better financial situation here. Could you help me make a list of schools I should look into with my stats? Most of the advice points me to schools like harvard, brown, columbia, etc, but I'm not sure I have the stats to get in schools like that. Also, I am trying to find some small LAC's (in addition to universities) that have great programs that I could get into (Again, not sure I have good enough stats for, say, Swarthmore). So basically, I'm just looking for good Classics programs that I have a reasonable shot at getting into as a transfer. Also, can you include some programs that have classical archaeology programs? Thanks everyone! Here are my stats:

3.9 cumulative GPA at ASU
1460 SAT (730/730)
National Merit Scholar
AP Scholar w/ Distinction
National Latin Exam 3 time gold medalist
2 sport varsity captain (2 years both sport)
Co-Founder and charter member of School of Global Studies club at ASU.
Founder and Editor of high school newspaper
Mock Trial
Tour Guide
AYSO Volunteer Soccer Referee (over 200 hours community service)
President of Latin Club in high school.

I'll speculate that many small and liberal arts colleges have adequate Classics and or Humanities departments. Of the places that excel in this area, I know only St. John's College in Maryland. But there must be others. I would start my search with catholic (specifically the Jesuits) colleges, probably in the northeast and major cities elsewhere.

U of San Diego
U of San Francisco
Assumption College (MA)
Georgetown University (DC)
DePaul University (DC)
Fordham University (NY)
Canisius College (NY)

Check out Michigan, Cornell, Penn and Chicago.

Washington and Lee is a LAC with a classics program.

It's tough to get into, but with your stats, I'd imagine admission.

Coming from ASU, your social life wouldn't have to take a hit, either.
