Help with my predicament

I am currently in a jam.

I will be applying to a top tier school Early Action and already have the two required SAT II scores for that school.

After my recent June SAT I score of 2200,

I am considering retaking the SAT I the coming October. Originally, I had planned to take the Physics and Literature Subject tests in October in order to apply regular decision to other colleges.

Here is my question:

Would it look better to my Early Action college if I retook the SAT for a higher score or if I just took the two subject tests? I can only do one of the two options before the EA deadline closes.

Thank you for your opinions.

How did you do on the SAT II tests you already took?

I got a 790 on the Chemistry and 800 on the Math IIC

Okay, first of all, I would not recommend that you retake the SAT I seeing that you already have a pretty good score. Also, SAT sends colleges all of your scores and thus retaking the SAT would prove useless. For the SAT IIs, why would you take two more when the top universities require at most 3 tests? Your scores are amazing on the chem and math II. If you want to take another subject, go ahead, that is if you plan on applying to Harvard, Yale, or Georgetown. To answer your question, though, if the college you are applying EA to requires 3 subject tests, definitely go that route. If not, however, I would go ahead and retake the SAT I to see if you can surpass your already-high-enough score.
