Help with Neuroscience Minor

So, I am currently a Child Development Major. I would love to teach, but there is a part of me that really wants to study neuroscience and get a Minor in that field. However, I don't exactly know what I would do with a minor in neuroscience. I am not interested in going to med school, and I'm wondering if that would limit my options, or if I could still enter developmental psychology or something like that. I'm just walking around like a chicken with my head cut off at the moment and a little direction would be very helpful.

It’s okay to get a minor in neuroscience just because you’re interested in it. In general, minors tend not to hold much weight by themselves and typically only show interest. You can also just take neuroscience classes without getting an official minor in it.

I think you’re thinking of this backwards. It’s not necessarily “What could I do with a minor in neuroscience?”. It’s “What career do I want to have, and do I need a minor in neuroscience to get there?”.
