Help with Page 217 essay

Hey fellow penn applicants. I was wondering if a couple of you could take the time to glance over my Page 217 essay and let me know what you think about the topic, if you think it's what they want, etc. I'll pm it to anyone who's willing. Thanks :)

Sorry to ‘jack your thread’, but does anyone know how to quote someone?

under the area where you can enter the msg for quick reply there’s a little box you can check that says “Quote message in reply?”

PM with title/prompt

abivin i cant click it?

just do this everytime

[ quote ] [/ quote ] without spaces

to be able to click the little box you gotta hit reply on that person’s thread msg first. the “reply” button is in the bottom right of anything they’ve posted.

PM it over.

Yes, it worked

Feel free to pm me

Same here, just send it over.

it takes me to the big box? when i hit reply

Would love to read it. Please PM.

I’ll read, pm.

I’ll give you feedback, PM me!

I would caution you against soliciting editing help from fellow applicants, but in any event, I’m more than happy to offer my assistance. (I was admitted as a transfer student last year and am starting my second year at Penn.)

I can read it - PM me

Sure thing, send it over

I will take a look, I’m working on mines too :D

I will read your essay if you’d like, but I also have a question about the essay. Are you writing it like your autobiography of your life thus far, or as if you’re finishing it 50 or so years from now? My mom and I have differing opinions and I’d like to know before I write the whole thing ha.

^dancer, I’m pretty sure you can approach it either way. The majority of the ones I’ve seen/heard of have written it from the POV of 50 years in the future or so, but I wrote mine as an autobio of my life so far and I got in so it couldn’t have been “wrong”.
