I was wondering if anyone could help to reccomend some schools i live in New Jersey and i would not mind going as far south as Florida but would prefer to stay on the East Coast. My stats go as follows:
Math 650
Critical Reading 600
Writing 590
GPA 3.62
2 AP Courses

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well…we can help you, but we need to know a bit more about you… :)

What is your potential major and/or career interest(s)?

How much will your parents spend on your education each year?

What kind of schools do you like?

big
small
quiet
rah rah big sports to watch and cheer for
honors college on campus?
greek systems as an option
Catholic schools ok?
single sex
co-ed 50/50 split
rural setting
big city setting
college town setting
nice dorms
recreation availability
warm weather
cold/snowy weather

haha seems as if ive missed alot of information.

i do not have much of a preference on school size other than not wanting to go to an extremely small school. any school over say 3500 people would be fine.

i am interested in greek life as well as sports teams but these do not neccessarily have to be the stand out points of these schools.

no preference on weather since i am in jersey and it seems that we do get the best of all seasons and i do not mind either way.

i do not neccessarily mind a religious affiliation but would probably look at schools that do not have one first. i do not mind if the school is private or public.

i am open to all kinds of college towns but would prefer not to be in a extremely rural sections but any other type of setting would be fine.

all of these are preferences but if you guys have some favorites for schools that are on the east coast that you think i could get in to feel free to share i am very open minded! once again thanx to all

Well, since you like the eastern part of the country (down to Florida), and you have an interest in business, but aren’t sure about business - it’s probably a good idea to lean towards national universities that offer a wide variety or majors, but are also strong in business :)

Boston College
U of Georgia
U of South Carolina
Wake Forest
Boston U
Syracuse
George Wash U

yes i do plan on taking it again but do not plan on taking the acts i think i could go up between 20 - 40 points in each section, or at least that is what i am hopiing!

Rutgers, William Paterson, Hofstra, TCNJ (may be a bit of a reach), SUNY schools (Binghamton?), American U., Drew, Wheelock, UMaine, UMass, UConn, UDel, USF, FU, UMaryland. UPenn.

I would also add Elon, High Point and College of Charleston. They meet your size preference and offer business majors. High Point might be a safety. The other 2 might be matches. Someone else mentioned Wake Forest - might be a reach.
