I keep practicing math, and for some reason my score is not going up as much as my practice should make it. I'm stuck at around 690/700, and I really need it to go up to 750+. Any tips for improving score, making less careless mistakes, etc.?

when you practise math all the wrongs answers and the careless mistake you make

write them in one place and look them a week before the test

and also refer to the question number , i mean question number 10 will never be hard to figure it out so don’t think for this question the hard way

do you get it when you do this you will get 800 i am sure :D:D:D

I was consistently scoring high 600s/low 700s before I decided to actually review math using the Blue Book (actually reading the lessons/whatnot). I took practice tests, found out my weaknesses and review them the most. I used to hope before every practice test “Gee, I hope there won’t be rate problems on this test :S”, but that never worked too well. You have to get used to the problems and meet your weaknesses head on, and this takes time.

I improved my score by practicing alone. Once you do enough practice tests, you sorta know all the tricks that ETS tries to throw at you and you develop your own shortcuts. I usually never check my work except for the last 4-5 problems in each section, though I always double check what the question is asking for before I mark an answer I think is right. By doing this, I raised my score from low 700s/high 600s to consistent 770s/780s/800s in 4 months.
