Well anyway, I'm a freshman that receives financial aid. I am supposed to be full time---12 hours. During registration, I only registered for 9 hours. I'm looking at the academic calendar, and I don't really get it.
What's going to happen when I try to register? What should I do?</p>
<p>Well, the tuition payment deadline is before the add/drop period, so you’ll end up paying a lower tuition at first. When you try to add more classes to get above 12 hours, I’m not really sure how the tuition billing works, but I’d assume that they’ll charge you separately for those additional hours.</p>
<p>So is it recommended that I pay two separate bills, or should I just not pay at all (have the 9 hrs canceled) until I get 12 hours during add-drop?</p>
<p>Well unless you want to get into different sections, I recommend paying the two separate bills. It should be the same total amount either way.</p>
<p>Of course, I could be entirely wrong about how they’ll bill you, but it seems to be the only reasonable way to do it :P</p>
<p>Sometimes the way we think is reasonable isn’t the way things are done lol. Hopefully someone with past experience can enlighten us</p>
