ok, with all of that, im asking for a little help. my ultimate goal is to get into notre dame. out of high school, transfer, i dont know but right now does anyone have any advice to help me sway the admissions office with my application in senior year? i know im not the 4.0 1600 student, but i take hard classes, im going to have an upward trend (screwed up freshman year), and i want to do a lot of good for my applications junior year. however, i dont know much about what these admissions boards want, especially at notre dame (quoting rudy, "theyre a funny bunch of squirrels").

can anyone help?

Upward trend on the GPA is VERY important... you will definitely need to get that and your rank up. Also, I don't know what that PSAT will mean but you'll definitely want to work on your PSAT/SAT scores over the next 2 years. The involvement is looking good.. it's cool that you're so interested so early!

Good luck!

Get your SAT up. If you got, say, a 2250, they will probably overlook your GPA as long as you have an upward trend with a lot of APs.
