Help with resume

Which HS achievements should be listed on resume of incoming college CS freshman applying for summer internships?

Honestly, if you’re applying for next summer, not many. List any programming languages/skills you learned and any scholarships you may have earned for college, but other than that and your employment history (if any), only your college, major, and anticipated graduation date should be listed (and possibly your high school graduation year).

@guineagirl96 I’m not an expert, but are you sure? If you’re an incoming freshman and you can’t put anything on your resume…at most, you’ll have whatever you could put into your first semester. If you won some major awards in high school or interned somewhere important, putting that there is probably preferable to putting down nothing.

@RMIBstudent internship counts as employment history, so yes that would be included.
Honestly, I cannot think of any major award/achievement won in high school that employers would care about. Except for something like getting published in a major journal.

I mean, after the first semester, most college students will have close to nothing, so even some trivial high school things would be better than just white space or “can use microsoft word”.

But I was thinking like Siemens finalist or something.
