Help with schedule for Fall 2010?!

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I'll be going to my orientation this Tuesday and I wanted some insight on the classes I hope will be included in my schedule for Fall 2010. So far, I know I'll have credit for RHE 306, either HIS 315K or HIS 315L, most likely for E 316K, and hopefully for GOV 310L or GOV 312L if I play my cards right. I've already looked professors up on UT Direct and RateMyProfessors.com, but I wanted further insight at these forums. This is the schedule I'm planning/hoping to have:</p>

<p>UGS 302 (First Year Signature), RTF 305 (Introduction to Media Studies), TD 301 (Introduction to Theatre), PSY 301 (Introduction to Psychology), and M 302 (Introduction to Mathematics).</p>

<p>I'm going to school for Radio-Television-Film and I'm hoping to secure some of these classes by signing up for a FIG (Comm Chat or Freud, Film, & Fun).</p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about professors in these areas? Or suggest any adjustments I should make to my proposed schedule? Any help is appreciated! Thank you very much.</p>

<p>UT only gives credit for GOV 310L; You’ll, however, get credit for both HIS 315K and HIS 315L.</p>

<p>Definitley sign up for the FIG…you will be guaranteed 2-3 classes… My D is in a communications FIG and is in the Intro to Media class that you mentioned…through her FIG. The only problem with that class is that it meets liie 4 times a week and at weird times… We still haven’t totally figured out what is going on with that.</p>

<p>Psy 301 - Lewis gets my vote, but Salinas is reportedly also good. Don’t have any other recs because I either transferred in the credit or don’t need those courses.</p>
