I am a freshman in high school now and as a science course, I take Biology. Next year, I will take Chemistry. In jr. year, we have a choice of either physics, AP Chem, or AP Bio. In sr. year, AP Phys is added to that mix.

I want to take both AP Bio and AP Chem, but if I take physics, that will not be possible. Should I drop my language (French) and take two sciences in sr year?

It really depends on your interests, but it would probably be best to take a French class after school in your senior year or during the summer between your junior and senior year. You could talk to your counselor about receiving credit. Some colleges recommend that applicants take four years of language, but very few require it.

I am in a similar situation, except that I will have completed four years of language by the end of my junior year. Most of my electives will be science classes, and I am trying to decide which courses to take over the next few years.

I dropped Spanish Senior year because it was offered the same period as AP Chemistry and Honors Pre-Calc- two classes I really wanted to take. I still love Spanish and am involved in spanish club, and i plan to continue it in college.

Thanks for your answer. If I do continue taking french in school (there are no after school programs), should I take AP Chem and AP Bio and skip physics? Or take Physics and take only 1 AP sciene class?

I have heard that it is good to take biology, chemistry, and physics in high school. You should either take all three science and one AP science, or just take three years of French and have two AP sciences. What are you interested in? If you really like science, it would be fine to have just three years of language.

take chemistry in ur sophomore year then take physics and chemistryAP in ur junior and physicsAP / BioAP in ur senior year-- in our school before u take any science AP like bioAP or chemAP, u first have to take Honors of that class thats like I then u take level II which is AP
