I'm a rising senior in high school, and I've been devoting all of my free time searching for scholarships. My father is an Active Duty member of the U.S. Air Force, and has recently been stationed at the U.S Embassy in Ankara Turkey. Consequently, I get to spend my senior year living in Turkey and attend a Department of Defense school. Like I said, I have been applying for TONS of scholarhships and I need some advice. Does anyone know of scholarships that I would qualify for?

Your strategy may need to be re-directed.

It sounds like you’re looking for private scholarships. Many/most of those are only for freshman year…and they’re hard to get and not for large amounts. They usually will not help you pay for 4 years of college.

Int’l experience will not likely qualify you for scholarships.

If you need merit scholarships, then you need to apply to the COLLEGES that give them…those are usually for all 4 years as long as you have good grades.

At a minimum, you need to apply to a few schools that you know will give you large merit scholarships as your safeties.

We need more info…
