I've been so overwhelm with actually applying to schools that I've completely forgotten about scholarships. Where can I find scholarships? I'm hispanic, have an 91ish avg, and live in New York City. If that helps at all. HELP!!!!

The best place to find scholarships is through the colleges that you've applied to. Check their web sites for need-based and merit scholarship information. If you need $ to go to college, make sure that you're applying to colleges that guarantee to meet 100% of your demonstrated financial need (Keep in mind that what colleges think you need may be less than what your family thinks you need) and are applying to colleges where you're virtually guaranteed merit aid.

Typically the guaranteed merit aid colleges are ones that are safeties for you -- safeties that offer merit aid. You aren't likely to get merit aid from a reach school. Colleges offer merit aid to lure students who otherwise would go to better colleges.

Also check the financial aid estimator that I think is on CC's home page.
And check the financial aid advice threads at the very top of this board.

Check with your GC about local scholarships. Often those are small, but they are easier to get than the large, national ones, and if you make careful applications, those small amounts can add up to a lot.
